Method Man Reminisces on Working with Notorious B.I.G. and Pac

Meth discusses being the only guest star on Big's debut and why he stayed out of the East Coast/West Coast war.

On this day 14 years ago, hip hop lost one of its greatest with the passing of Christopher "Notorious B.I.G." Wallace.
In a new video interview with the French blog Media Gasface, Method Man, the only featured artist on Biggie's classic debut Ready to Die, reminisces about how he first met Big and what it was like to record with him and Puffy in the studio.
On his appearance on Ready to Die, he said: "I didn't know I was gonna be the only guest on the album. There were a lot of dudes feelin' Biggie back then. But he reached out to me. Maybe he called other guys and they didn't answer the phone in time. Who knows."
Meth also spoke on his relationship with 2Pac and staying out of the overblown East Coast/West Coast feud. "There's more fake ni**as than real ni**as in the game, but by the time sh*t gets to the real ni**as? Somebody dies," he said.
In an earlier video interview, Method Man talked about growing up in Long Island and his first days with the Wu Tang Clan.
