Celeb Private Jet Drama: J.Lo and Lebron in Danger?

Celeb Private Jet Drama: J.Lo and Lebron in Danger? Celebs might've been in danger during flights with a private jet company.

Jennifer Lopez, LeBron James, Charlie Sheen and other A-listers may have a whopper of a lawsuit against Crystal Air Aviation, a private jet company that provides planes to many celebrities.

Star Magazine
(via RadarOnline.com) obtained a letter by a former pilot containing shocking details of the company's negligence, claiming many of their clients could have been killed in the unsafe fleet of planes.

George Thomsen
, a veteran pilot who was briefly employed by Crystal Air Aviation before he resigned, issued a lengthy and detailed resignation letter about the mechanically unsafe jets on which stars have been traveling.
"My whole career of 42 years of flying has been about safety," Thomsen told Star. "These guys look for whatever way possible to shortchange training, shortchange maintenance and jeopardizing safety. They are jeopardizing safety and lives."
One of the worst incidents, according to Thomsen, occurred when Miami Heat power forward LeBron James narrowly escaped death after flying from Ohio to London on November 11, where James and his entourage were scheduled to appear at a Nike School of Basketball event.
Yet, when it was time to return to the United States, the private jet was grounded after Thomsen discovered a "major fuel leak" during the jet's refueling that spewed potentially explosive fuel under the aircrafts' right wing.
The leak was so bad, authorities at London's Luton Airport immediately called in HAZMAT experts and blocked off the area. Said Thomsen, "This is not drips. But streams of fuel running over the landing lights and the landing gear. It would be a safety hazard both on takeoff and landing. It could go on to the brakes and could cause a fire. It would blow up."
Thankfully, no one has been hurt on one of Crystal Air's allegedly defective planes and the FAA has launched an investigation into the company's practices. There has been no comment from the jet company as yet.
