After taking a few jabs at Wiz Khalifa late last year, Waka Flocka now insists that he wants no beef with the Taylor Gang rapper... just don't expect them to collaborate.
In a sit down with Angie Martinez for Hot 97, Waka's comments about Wiz (he's got "no swag" and is "hype[ing] his way to the top") became a topic of discussion.
"That's deaded," Flocka said quickly when Martinez brought it up. "I ain't botherin' nobody. I stated my opinion because it's true and it’s fact."
Snoop Dogg had previously stepped in to mediate the situation and things were quiet on that front until Martinez gave it some airtime yesterday. The respected radio personality playfully chided Waka for going at Wiz, saying the two were both nice guys and ought to be able to collaborate. But the Brick Squad rapper wasn't too keen on the idea.
"Negative. Negative. Negative," he said. "That's like me being a gangsta and then rapping about cookies and creams and lollipops. What you gon' call me? Nice guy or a sucka?"
Despite his reluctance to embrace Khalifa, Waka said he has cousins who like the Pittsburgh rapper and that his fans should support him as well.
"I want my fans to support that man 100 percent. I don't wish any bad on him or nothin'. It is what it is," he said.
