Evidence in felony rape charges against Darren Sharper keep building.

The DNA of the former NFL player was found on one of his alleged rape victims in Arizona, according to testimony given by a Tempe police detective in Phoenix on Wednesday.

According to USA Today, semen matching Sharper’s DNA was found on the leggings of one of his alleged rape victims in Arizona and testing also revealed a partial DNA match for Sharper on the genitals of the same woman. The woman claims to have been raped by Sharper on November 21, 2013.

Evidence was presented by Arizona prosecutors Wednesday in an attempt to try to convince a judge that Sharper should be kept behind bars without bail while facing felony rape charges in California and Arizona. Sharper has been incarcerated in Los Angeles since Feb. 27, 2014.

Sharper is currently facing charges in California and Arizona for alleged rapes of four women. He is also being investigated for alleged rapes of two women in Las Vegas, two women in New Orleans, and one woman in Miami, for a total of nine women in five different states since September 2013.

USA Today reports that all alleged incidents follow a similar pattern: After partying with these women, Sharper offered them drug-laced drinks and raped them while they were unconscious, according to court records and police reports.

Investigations in New Orleans, Las Vegas and Miami remain open.
