Jalen Green is living his best life. 

The star Houston Rockets guard is playing the best of his professional career and he said he owes it all to his family.

Following the Rockets' 137-114 victory over the Washington Wizards, Green who scored 42 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the contest, was asked by sideline reporter Vanessa Richardson what was behind his inspired play on the court.

“My family,” Green said, “[and] my baby.”

In early March, it was reported that Green, 22, is expecting his first child with social media influence and entrepreneur Draya Michele, 39,  who also has two sons: 21-year-old Kniko and Jru, 7.

Further showing his love for his significant other, Green was spotted on social media with a tattoo of Michele's first name on his lower abdomen.

On March 8, Michelle revealed her baby bump in honor of International Women’s Day with several maternity photos.

“Happy #InternationalWomensDay ! As women, we navigate through so much, often leading us to question, “What is my purpose?” For me, the magic lies in motherhood and the awe-inspiring ability to bring life into this world over the span of two decades. It’s my superpower. And if anything can surpass the wonder of being a woman, it’s the privilege of bringing another woman into existence,” Michele’s post read.

“We are overjoyed to share our love for you, little girl. I'm excited to speak words to the daughter I never thought I’d have. We are anxious about your arrival, but take your time — this world can be tough,” the post continued. “But know you are being brought into a space of love, security, and adornment.” 

On the court, Green is hoping to lead the Rockets to a spot in the play-in tournament as the team continues to make strides.

“Everyone is just stepping up. Everyone is playing hard,” Green said after the game. We’re chasing something right now. I think we all got the same goal and everyone's on board with it.”
