Juvenile, Mystikal to Headline BET Music Matters A3C Showcase
BET Music Matters is heading back to Atlanta for the All Three Coasts (A3C) Festival this October. The showcase will celebrate 10 years of groundbreaking introductions to some of the biggest names in hip hop, from Kendrick Lamar to J. Cole, in a real big way.
"We are proud to return on the 10th year anniversary to bring more exciting, new hip hop stars alongside legendary Southern performers Juvenile and Mystikal," revealed Kelly G, Senior Director of Music Programming for BET Networks. "It's been years since they have performed in Atlanta and we anticipate this being a goose-bumps, can’t-miss historical moment in hip hop."
Kevin Gates, Nappy Roots, G-Unit's own Kidd Kidd, and Retro also are confirmed to hit the stage, as well as Washington, D.C.-conscious rapper Taron Johnson, who will perform songs from his soulful My Tape, and Oakland femcee Glam I. Rock (daughter of Oakland female rapper Nic Nac), who will rock the mic to unite the South and the West with her The Feel EP.
“Music Matters has a great history of showcasing the next superstars in hip hop down at A3C," Kelly G added. Last year, more than 20,000 fans vibed out to a diverse lineup including MMG star Meek Mill, Anomaly rapper Lecrae, West Coast phenom Problem, the lyrically driven Rapsody, and Chi-town spitter Vic Mensa.
The A3C Festival goes down from Oct. 8-12 with the Music Matters Showcase on Friday Oct. 10 at the A3C Main Stage at 8 p.m.
