Michelle Obama may have been out of the spotlight when we needed her most, but the former first lady will be making a return to the public eye to promote her new book, and people couldn't be more thrilled. 

Although Becoming is not scheduled to be released until later this fall, Obama, as many authors have, planned a book tour to promote the memoir. While we are unsure about the different appearances FLOTUS will make, her longtime makeup artist Carl Ray posted a glam shot to the gram of Obama to commence the beginning of the tour. 

The image of Mrs. Obama serving looks before she serves us what is expected to be one of the greatest books of the year had people going off in the comments. 

"So excited for the book and the tour!!!!! She looks so gorgeous as always," commented one Instagram user. 

"I swear if I don’t get a ticket to that book tour I will cry!" wrote another. 

We can expect to see more of Michelle popping up on television shows and interviews before the memoir drops. Hopefully in this time, she'll give us some much needed insight into how she sees the country moving forward.
