Fetty Wap Gets Teary-Eyed After Winning His First Award for 'Trap Queen'
Fetty Wap just can’t stop winning.
The Paterson, N.J., native is still reaping the awards for “Trap Queen.” The single, which is currently No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, has given him a lot of opportunities on the big stage. He’s performed “Trap Queen” alongside Fall Out Boy as well as made a major television appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! with Brooklyn instrumental band Phony Ppl. Now Wap is receiving his very first award for “Trap Queen” and its accompanying video.
Currently, “Trap Queen” has over 100 million views on YouTube. With such a huge accomplishment, Music Choice awarded him a MC100 Award of 2015 for the most-played video so far.
In the clip, we can see Wap get a little emotional because he says he has never won anything before. Watch his heartfelt acceptance below and be sure to catch “Trap Queen” live when he goes on tour with Chris Brown and Kid Ink.
