Tamron Hall's New True-Crime Show Debuts This Weekend
The idea for Tamron Hall's new true-crime series came from a painful experience close to home. In 2004, her older sister Renate was murdered in a domestic violence dispute, and the case remains unsolved.
Hall goes forth with hosting the show in her sister's memory. “I started talking with other survivors and their families about the difficult challenge — you have no closure. And this show evolved,” she said Thursday on Today.
On the show, Hall will do in-depth interviews with law enforcement experts and news reporters behind crime-related stories. “These are about people who are behind the headlines, and it means the world to me to have this opportunity,” she said.
Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall airs Sundays on the Investigation Discovery network.
