For the past two James Bond flicks, Casino Royale (2006) and Quantum of Solace (2008), Jeffrey Wright has played government agent Felix Leiter opposite Mr. Bond's Daniel Craig.

Yet ComingSoon.net reports that the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actor may not return for the next installment in the Bond series. Wright tells the website at the Toronto International Film Festival that he hasn’t received a call to appear in the film.

Although the new Bond film is set for tentative release in November 2012, there have no been other updates and anything can happen between now and then. 

In the meantime, Wright will star in the upcoming film, The Ides of March, with George Clooney in October.
