[Watch] Rat Finds Way Onto Subway Rider’s Lap and Into His Heart
You can’t blame a rat for trying.
An early morning commuter on the 7 train in New York City was shocked to wake up to a furry friend on his neck. A gigantic rat found its way into the train car and began to walk up the sleeping man’s legs and onto his lap.
Anthony Lin, another passenger, decided to go against the “see something, say something” motto of the MTA and instead pulled out his phone and hit record.
In the video, you can see the rat making a nice little home near the man’s face before he wakes up horrified.
Lin wanted to record the incident because he had never seen a rat in the actual car of the train, let alone one of that size.
After the video was made public, Lin said, “it's just insane and disgusting overall to see that [happen].”
Surely that subway rider will think twice about falling asleep on the subway from here on out. He’ll probably have nightmares about that rat for a little while, too.
And the rat? That little guy missed out on its shot at a late-night love story.
