Is DeAndre Jordan Having a Change of Heart About Leaving Clippers?

Sources tell ESPN that star center might not sign with the Dallas Mavericks.

Amid rumors that he's unhappy being the third wheel to Chris Paul and Blake Griffin with the Los Angeles ClippersDeAndre Jordan verbally agreed to a four-year, $80 million max deal with the Dallas Mavericks last week.

But until the deal is signed Thursday (July 9), the first day that all free agent contracts can be officially inked, the Clippers are going to try to change the big man's mind. And they just might have his ear, as sources are telling ESPN that Jordan is "leaning" toward a return to the Clippers. People in the know say the Lob City star is overall "torn" and "unsure" about the decision to join Dallas or return to LA.

ESPN is also reporting that Clippers owner Steve Ballmer, coach and team president Doc Rivers and CP3 were flying to Jordan's offseason home in Houston on Wednesday to give him one final pitch on remaining with the franchise.

The threat of Jordan changing his mind is so real that Mavs owner Mark Cuban reportedly arrived earlier in Houston to speak with the center before the Clippers got to the big man.

However, Paul, who Jordan has a rumored rift with, has been reportedly the strongest lobbying voice in getting the center to remain a Clipper.
