The first trailer for Toni Braxton’s Lifetime biopic, Unbreak My Heart, gives a chilling snapshot of the singer’s life. In the 20-second clip, we get a glimpse into Braxton’s professional triumphs and personal struggles.

Braxton filed for bankruptcy twice, and announced her Lupus diagnoses in 2010. A quick scene in the trailer possibly teases some of the seven-time Grammy winner's health battles. 

The film, executive produced by Braxton, is an adaptation of a memoir of the same name. She is portrayed by actress Lexi Scott Davis.

Unbreak My Heart debuts on Lifetime Saturday, Jan. 23.
