Tyrese Enlists Rick Ross, Ludacris for New Album
Tyrese has big things in store for his forthcoming album, Open Invitation. Considering it's been more than five years since the R&B singer has blessed fans with an album, Tyrese is planning to go all out for this project and has recruited a few stars to help him out.
The singer-turned-actor has gotten hip hop heavyweight Rick Ross for the single "Too Easy" and R&B legend R. Kelly for the track "I Gotta Chick." Ludacris will also appear on the project that Tyrese says will be his best to date.
“I’m blessed with a supportive partnership in EMI Music Services to release an album I poured my heart and soul into," Tyrese told AllHipHop.com. "I believe that this is my best musical effort to date, and I’m anxious to share it with my fans who have patiently waited for my return.”
Tyrese has kept busy during the hiatus, acting and releasing a best-selling inspirational memoir How to Get Out of Your Own Way this past April.
The album, which will be released on Tyrese's own Voltron Recordz label with distribution by EMI, is set for release November 1.
