The awards recognize the very best channels and services available on Freesat, showcasing the breadth of choice and quality of programming on offer.

The awards judging panel is made up of senior representatives from the broadcasting industry. They will review nominations in eight categories from Best Entertainment Channel to Best Specialist Radio Station and additionally select a winner for the Judges' Special Award.

BET International is nominated for the viewer voted award - Freesat Channel of the Year.

The winners will be announced at the Freesat Awards Ceremony, which will take place on 30th June in London.

BET international has a mission to build a global distribution footprint beyond BET’s current carriage of 85 million homes in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean.
