The 43rd annual NAACP Image Awards were announced today and BET earned 14 nominations in the television category, ranging from Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series (Reed Between the Lines and The Game) to Outstanding Reality Series (Sunday Best) to Outstanding Variety Series or Special (BET Awards 2011 , Black Girls Rock!, UNCF An Evening of Stars Tribute to Chaka Khan). 
Additional awards include categories in film, music, literature and social justice. Other notable nominees are The Help with eight nominations, new mommy Beyoncé received four nods in music and Jill Scott also received four. Below are the list of categories in which BET received nominations.
