You win some, you lose some.

But when Shaquille O'Neal lost a bet Thursday night, he lost his pants on live TV in the process.

On TNT's Inside the NBA, the four-time league champion had bet that Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard would at least score 18 points and grab seven rebounds against the Chicago Bulls or he'd do a live segment without any pants on.

Although Howard wound up pulling his weight on the boards, hauling down 13 of them, he only mustered seven points in the Rockets' loss, causing Shaq to lose the bet and walk out onto the set without any pants to the hilarity of his co-workers for the evening, Isiah Thomas and Lisa Leslie.

The timing was perfect, as midnight rolled right into April Fool's Day.

But that wasn't the first time Shaq pulled the no-pants prank on his crew, as we tracked down footage of him doing the same earlier this season.

Anything for a laugh.
