Watch LeBron James Invite Derrick Rose to His Block Party
Welcome to LeBron James's block party. Derrick Rose you're invited.
As if dumping 38 points on the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night wasn't enough, King James ran the length of the floor to swat this game-tying shot from Rose with 48.8 seconds left. Yeah... James went up on a Tuesday and came down with Rose's shot. Chris Webber, who was calling the game with Marv Albert, was right on point to say that come-from-behind block was a signature Tayshaun Prince play.
The Cleveland Cavaliers wound up winning 106-101 behind James's monstrous 38 points, 12 boards, six assists, three steals and three blocks. Good Lord, he did the most. The Cavs now own a 3-2 series lead, one win away from punching their ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals.
Other playoff action Tuesday night saw the Houston Rockets defeat the Los Angeles Clippers 124-103 to stay alive in their playoff series. James Harden fought off the flu to notch his first playoff triple-double of 26 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Beard basketball! The Rockets pulled within 3-2 in the series.
