Fashion-loving tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams play models this month, posing as cover girls for Hamptons Magazine in breezy, summery white dresses.

The inside shoot plays tribute to the sisters' unconventional glam on-court outfits. Venus laughs mid-swing in a crisp Comptoir des Cotonniers blazer over a Nike bikini top paired with Calvin Klein pants, while Serena strikes a softer action shot in a form-fitting Max Mara dress.

Venus, in particular, has raised eyebrows with the Grand Slam outfits she’s worn this year, but she dished her U.S. Open style strategy to Serena during an interview they did with each other, and it sounds like this year's tournament outfits will be much tamer than usual.

“The U.S. Open this year is all about the little black dress, and I always put zippers in my dresses, so there will be a zipper down the back,” Venus said. "Because I don’t ever wear black in the daytime, it will be opposing colors. Last year there were three different styles; this year it will be simple because it is just one, but in different colors.”

True to her word, Venus wore a LBD when she won her opening match against Vesna Dolonts yesterday, August 29.

And while Venus focuses on her fashion-forward looks, Serena is nailing a look of her own on the court with the final colors from her OPI Glam Slam polish collection, which was released in phases around the four tennis grand slams.
