A Tribe Called Quest to Perform Special Dave Chappelle-Hosted 'SNL'
Saturday Night Live has got it all figured out. The long-running show has finally recruited Dave Chappelle to host an episode, which oddly enough will be a career first for the veteran comedian.
On top of that, A Tribe Called Quest has also been recruited to perform, making the upcoming episode set to air November 12 one of epic proportions.
The day prior to Tribe's appearance will also see the release of their final album, We Got It From Here... Thank You 4 Your Service, which features the likes of Andre 3000, Busta Rhymes, Talib Kweli, Elton John, Anderson .Paak and Kendrick Lamar as guests, among others.
Phife Dawg passed away in the middle of the recording process earlier this year, and he will be included and honored in the legendary group's final project. The album will mark their first album in nearly two decades, and was recorded at Q-Tip's personal studio in New Jersey.
Needless to say, regardless of what the outcome of the next presidential election may be, at least we have SNL to look forward to.
