Evelyn Lozada Calls Recent Miscarriage the 'Hardest Thing Ever'
Evelyn Lozada was looking forward to becoming a third-time mother, after announcing that she was pregnant earlier this month. Her excitement, unfortunately, took a turn after she received the heartbreaking news that she was miscarrying.
About six weeks into her pregnancy, due to the low level of hormones, the reality star learned that she would end up miscarrying. She opened up about the traumatic experience on the latest episode of her new reality show, Livin' Lozada.
"I feel like when something tragic like this happens, I've always learned that there is something better to come and I guess that's what I hold onto," she said. "That it just wasn't meant to be."
Also on the show, she detailed how she physically felt when the process began. "I woke up this morning — early, early this morning," she told her daughter, Shaniece, teary-eyed. "It was literally still dark outside — and I started feeling cramping. I knew... the process was starting."
Lozada stopped by the Boris and Nicole show early this morning to speak more on her loss. She and her baseball star fiancé, Carl Crawford, are already the proud parents of a baby boy named Carl Leo Crawford, Jr. She had her firstborn, Shaniece, 22, from a previous relationship.
Despite saying that losing her baby was the "hardest thing ever," she thanked all of her fans for supporting her through this tough time.
