Kanye West Booked for LAX Photog Attack
Kanye West has officially been booked for attacking a photographer at LAX last summer.
West recently pleaded no contest to misdemeanor battery and Thursday (March 27) afternoon he made a quiet trip to the Hollywood LAPD station where he was fingerprinted, took a mugshot and then went on his way. The entire ordeal only took 49 minutes, according to TMZ.
Yeezy's quick turnaround probably won't sit well with his alleged victim, Daniel Ramos, who believes the "Bound 2" MC should be punished.
Ramos has filed a civil lawsuit against 'Ye and asked that the Chicago native be thrown in jail during their court hearing on March 17. "I believe that if I did what he did to me, I would have been put behind bars," Ramos said in court.
The judge didn't agree. West struck a plea deal and, in return, received two years of probation, 250 hours of community service and a month's worth of anger management therapy sessions.
Provided that he stays in line for the next two years, West's trip to the police station will hopefully be his last.
