Gucci Mane has wasted no time celebrating the fact that he has completed his house arrest sentence and is now a free man. His first stop? New York City.

Stopping by Hot 97, the rapper gave a candid interview touching on his newfound freedom, his forthcoming music and where his relationship with Waka Flocka Flame stands in 2016.

During the interview, Gucci shared that he hasn’t spoken to his former protégé in three years.

When asked to go into detail on their relationship and where it stands now, the rapper responded bluntly, “It’s just done. I wish him well.”

While three years may feel like a lifetime, for Gucci, he says, there’s people he hasn’t spoken to in a decade.

“I’m so concerned with the stuff I got going,” Gucci elaborated. “I just did two albums in three months. I’m just trying to keep focused on what I got going. I can’t be thinking about that. I can’t trip forward looking back.” (Reminder, he said the same thing in 2013.)
