Macklemore Gives Advice to His Newborn on 'Growing Up (Sloane's Song)'
He releases his first single in over two years.
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are ready to release new music for their fans after 2012’s The Heist.
The album, which spawned the hit singles “Thrift Shop” and “Same Love,” helped the duo transition from indie names to mainstream forces. Today, the released “Growing Up (Sloane’s Song,” which serves as a love letter to his newborn daughter.
The song is assisted by Ed Sheeran. Mack’s vulnerability is what will touch a lot of listeners, where he raps about juggling the pressures of fame and his responsibilities of being a father.
