We’re not even close to the official start of tryouts for cuffin’ season, but Tyrese is scouting early. The Fast and the Furious star, who’s been single for some time now, is ready to trade it all in for a permanent "Yoga" partner.

In an Instagram post a couple of hours shy of #WCW, he gushed about his attraction toward the electric lady Janelle Monáe. He posted a picture of the ArchAndroid beauty with a long caption explaining his complex feelings for the energetic performer.

In it, he writes that unlike other guys, he's not afraid of the type of woman he believes Monáe to be. "I'm a sucker for a naturally beautiful, God fearing woman who's smart and authentic who's strong and self sufficient - most guys out here will run fast and be intimidated with the idea of all the things I just mentioned about you..."

Delving deeper, he then goes on to say, “I often wonder what I can protect you from.... What I can help you with, what insight of information can I give to help further your goal and life's intentions.”

Despite previous rumors of a possible off-screen romance with his Baby Boy co-star Taraji P. Henson, it’s clear that Tyrese is placing his bids on a different type of cookie.

As for now, we’ll  just have to wait and see if Janelle has ever had a thing for Jody.
