Lady Gaga Teams Up with Starbucks
With her new album "Born This Way" being released Monday, Lady Gaga is building up hype with an ever-growing list of marketing tactics. The latest, a partnership with Starbucks that will give the coffee shop giant a chance to reach a younger demographic by offering a number of Gaga goodies.
Starting Monday, a limited number of free downloads of Gaga's latest single "The Edge of Glory" will be available on the Starbucks Digital Network. A special edition of the album and an exclusive video of her singing an acapella version of "Born This Way" will also be streaming on the site.To access the network, use the Wi-Fi connection at participating stores and visit starbucks.yahoo.com.
There's also a scavenger hunt-type digital game called SRCH currently in play. Participants will receive clues throughout Starbucks' social media pages and follow along with Gaga's exploits in search of prizes and a chance to win special access to a concert during her 2012 world tour. The game goes through June 7 and requires a scan of this QR code to get started.
