Subway's Jared Fogle's Home Raided in Wake of Child Porn Investigation

It is not confirmed whether or not he is a suspect in the case.

Jared Fogle, who became a household name after becoming the spokesperson for Subway restaurant chain, is in the middle of a child pornography investigation. According to FOX59, he was seen walking beside an FBI agent as investigators were parked in his driveway. Indiana State Police were reportedly also on the scene.

Though his home is being searched, this does not mean that Fogle is necessarily a suspect. In fact, according to recent reports, this may be an extension of a case involving Russel Taylor, the former director of Fogle's charity foundation. He was arrested back in April for possessing and producing child pornography. More than 500 videos were reportedly found in Taylor's home. After learning of the case, Fogle said that his foundation has cut all ties with Taylor, effective immediately.

The criminal complaint against Taylor, which TMZ obtained, states that police recovered a 4 GB USB drive which listed his employer, the Jared Foundation, in a file name. When the file was opened, a folder labeled "Good stuff" was found housing more child pornography.

Taylor's mixing of work files with the illegal child porn may explain why the feds are searching Fogle's home, especially since the Subway spokesperson's name was not mentioned anywhere in the documents obtained by the police.

Subway recently released a statement on the recent happenings, saying, "We are shocked about the news and believe it is related to a prior investigation of a former Jared Foundation employee. We are very concerned and will be monitoring the situation closely."
