Man Fatally Shot at Wiz Khalifa Concert

Incident backstage leads to death of 38-year-old victim.

The atmosphere at Wiz Khalifa's concert in the Bay Area got deadly on Saturday, after a man was shot and killed backstage. The 38-year-old concertgoer was shot multiple times at the Shoreline Amphitheater just after Wiz, Jeezy and others finished performing. The unidentified man died a few hours later at a local hospital.
While police rushed to the scene after hearing shots fired, no arrests have yet been made. Cops are still looking for the suspect, believed to be a male in his 20s, and are asking any eyewitnesses to turn over photos of videos that may help track him down.
"Violence is never the answer. My prayers go out to the victim's family," Wiz tweeted before confirming that his Saturday night concert in nearby Chula Vista, California, had been cancelled "due to an active investigation" of the "senseless tragedy."
The Under the Influence of Music tour is scheduled to continue on Sunday in Irvine, California.
