Adele Doing Well After Vocal Cord Surgery

Doctor says the singer should make full recovery.

The show will go on for Adele. The British soul singer, who just underwent vocal cord surgery in Boston, is expected to make a full recovery, reports the New York Daily News. Though Adele's remaining UK tour dates and appearances for the rest of the year will remain canceled, she will soon hit those high (and low) notes once again.

The singer's fans have been waiting anxiously for the news after Adele abruptly cleared her calendar for the surgery earlier this year. "I'm heartbroken and worried to tell you that yet again I'm experiencing problems with my voice,” Adele had posted on her website blog in October. "I have absolutely no choice but to recuperate properly and fully, or I risk damaging my voice forever."

No word yet on when Adele is due back on stage or in the studio.
