LeBron James Has Nightmares Over Losing The Finals to Warriors
It has nearly been a month, but LeBron James is still reeling from his Cleveland Cavaliers' six-game loss to the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals.
"I just don't feel like you ever move on from losing in the Finals because you feel like you're right there and feel like you have the opportunity to do something special," James told Bleacher Report Radio on Sirius XM on Sunday. "I can never get away from losing in the Finals."
The crushing loss dropped King James to a career record of 2-4 in the NBA Finals, but this one hurt a little more than others. The hoops superstar admits he's having reoccuring "nightmares" over losing to the Warriors.
"I guess there's nightmares now about situations throughout the games that's always replaying in my head," James said. "It's definitely difficult, you know I'm getting better every day, but you know it takes quite a while for me to get out of the funk."
James can take some solace in knowing that the Cavs were playing the Finals against the Warriors without stars Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving and still managed to push the series to six games. Still, a loss is a loss.
What has helped James get out of the funk this offseason is spending quality time with his three kids, who he said, "don't allow me to not be happy."
