Dennis Rodman Promises to Be on Best Behavior During Hall of Fame Ceremony

Rodman was known as much for his antics and controversial statements as he was for his superior rebounding during his career.

It feels like we'll be cheated, but Dennis Rodman claims he won’t create controversy during Friday’s Basketball Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Over the years we’ve come to expect the unexpected from the always entertaining Rodman. But Rodman, 50, told NBA.com he will be on his best behavior—outlandish attire aside.

Rodman, a five-time NBA champion both with the Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls, was always showy and full of controversy during his career. He is known as one of the most tenacious rebounders the game has ever known.

But he will be remembered just as much for his antics and outrageous statements both on and off the court. So Friday’s ceremony will be worth tuning in no matter what Rodman says or doesn’t say.
