Lil' Wayne Canadian Tour Confirmed

Fans up North will see the hip hop megastar in action.

Knocking down rumors that Canadian authorities had banned Lil' Wayne from entering the country for scheduled dates on his tour due to his criminal history, reps for the multi-platinum-selling rapper released a statement stating the facts.

In a press release to the media, a spokesperson for Weezy wrote: “Wayne is looking forward to touring the West Coast of Canada. Wayne will perform in Vancouver at the Rogers Arena on April 27, followed by a performance in Edmonton, Canada, at Rexall Palace on April 28, ending with a performance in Calgary at Scotiabank Saddledome on April 29, 2011.”

The confirmation of the tour dates follow various reports last week that the superstar entertainer would not be allowed to perform the Canadian leg of his “I Am Still Music” tour because of his criminal record in the U.S.

The Young Money boss, who is joined by Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross and Travis Barker in concert, will continue on with his tour as scheduled, performing tonight in Bloomington, Indiana, before heading to his hometown, New Orleans, on Thursday night.
