Ex-Waffle House Employee Makes Cameo in Latto’s ‘Brokey’ Video
The Waffle House employee who was fired after participating in Latto’s “Brokey” challenge just made her music video debut.
Less than a month ago, TikTok user Yadira Ramirez took to social media, where she revealed she had been let go from her job of six years after filming herself and several coworkers partaking in the online challenge for a $10,000 cash prize.
Not long after, Latto caught wind of the news and invited the content creator to the studio, where she gifted her a stack of money.
Fans quickly suspected that perhaps the two were collaborating on new music.
Then, earlier this week, the “Big Mama” emcee teased the music video with two photos of herself with Ramirez while holding a stack of waffles, seemingly a subtle jab at the breakfast chain.
The visuals debuted on Friday (Oct. 20) and featured cameos from Rubi Rose, Desi Banks, and Alabama Barker. The Laura Marciano-directed video has already been viewed over 1.4 million times on YouTube since its release.
