Why Andi Didn't Stab Gary on 'Tyler Perry's Sistas'

While anything’s possible in the world of 'Sistas,' Andi isn’t likely behind Gary’s attack. Here are five reasons why the plot twist fans fear isn’t adding up.

Andi didn’t stab Gary—end of story. Sure, "Tyler Perry's Sistas" is known for wild plot twists, but it’s a pretty safe bet that Andi isn’t the one who tried to kill him. Here’s why she’s not the culprit:

We’ve Seen Her Side of the Story While anything can happen on "Sistas," we’ve had plenty of insight into Andi’s moves, and she wasn’t around when Gary got his comeuppance. And sure, she might have had the opportunity to set something up, but even that feels like a stretch, which brings us to the next point.

She Just Doesn’t Have It in Her In the last episode, Andi was in Gary’s hospital room, reminiscing about their good times despite everything she’s endured. Somehow, she’s still the bigger person, even if it’s hard to understand after all he put her through.

'Tyler Perry’s Sistas': Five Reasons Why Fatima Didn’t Stab Gary

She’s Too Smart to Do Something Reckless Andi might not always make the best choices—especially surprising for a successful lawyer—but murder isn’t one of her options. She’s had plenty of chances to take Gary out and could have crafted a self-defense or insanity plea, but she never went there. This means she values her freedom and wouldn’t risk her future over Gary.

There Are Others with Much Stronger Motives While Andi has a reason to be angry, Gary’s list of enemies is long. He caused Penelope to lose her baby, pushed Andi away from Jordan, and has connections with some seriously shady figures. With so many people he’s wronged, there are plenty of others who could’ve decided enough was enough.

It Wouldn’t Be Fun if Andi Did It If Andi were the culprit, it would be too obvious and, let’s face it, a bit anticlimactic. And after all that Sabrina just went through in jail, the last thing we need is another one of the Sistas behind bars.
