Disturbing Footage Shows Limp Woman Fall Out Of Moving Car And Get Dragged In By Her Boyfriend
Police have identified and located a Florida woman who was seen falling out of a moving SUV in an extremely disturbing surveillance video.
On Monday, a CCTV camera captured a maroon SUV driving through a busy South Florida intersection. Right when the car hits the middle of the intersection, a limp woman fell from the car and onto the street.
Once she fell from the vehicle, she remained still on the road. Eventually, a man who was identified as her boyfriend came over, picked her up, and dragged her back into the car.
The vehicle then sped off.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies found the woman and identified her as Jaiya Lee, 21. Based on their investigation, they determined Lee was in the passenger seat while her boyfriend, Marquis Mills, 19, drove the car, reported WFLA.
The couple was traveling with another adult women and a 1-year-old child in the back seat. Police questioned all of the adults in the car and they all said Lee leaned against the front passenger door, which had previously been repaired due to damage. When her bodyweight was placed on the door, she fell out.
Detectives have categorized the case as an accidental injury.
Lee suffered road rash on both of her legs and elbows, yet she has not sought medical attention.
There has not yet been an explanation as to why she appeared unresponsive and had to be carried back to the car.
Based on witness testimony and physical evidence, no charges are pending in the investigation.
However, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking that anyone with more information give them a call at (813) 247-8200.
