Jada Pinkett-Smith Reaches Out To Pete Davidson After He Posts Seemingly Suicidal Note
Tons of supportive and heartwarming messages were sent to comedian Pete Davidson after he posted a shocking message that insinuated that he was planning on taking his own life.
One of the many celebrities to share some encouraging words with the SNL star is actress Jada Pinkett-Smith, who kicked things off with her own relatable take.
Davidson's heartwrenching message was posted in response to the slew of backlash he received after he voiced his support for Kanye West, who was in the middle of a social media spat with the comic's ex, Ariana Grande.
Expressing what appeared to be suicidal thoughts, he posted to social media, "Just remember I told you so," before rapidly deleting his Instagram account.
Take a look at his full message, below:
After his words went viral, several of his famous friends took to Twitter to share postitive affirmations, with many of them attempting to contact him to lend a helping hand.
Pinkett-Smith was among the first few who urged him to "hang in there."
"There is a lot of help out here," she tweeted. "Surrender to some love some where around you ... today! Right now! And then ... let in the help that will become available. I'm praying for you Pete. I've been there. It gets better."
Among the other celebrities who urged him to seek help and even offered to be present for him, themselves, are Kid Cudi, Jon Cryer, Machine Gun Kelly and Nicki Minaj.
Cryer also shared that, thankfully, Davidson is safe at the SNL studios and is doing well.
