Look: Melania and Barron Trump Will Move to the White House After All

But only under one condition.

After it was reported that Melania and Barron Trump would not be immediately joining Donald Trump at the White House, the president-elect told reporters that they will move to D.C. at the end of the school year, reported Fox News.

On Sunday, reporters gathered at Trump’s golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. While holding several meetings with potential cabinet members, Trump admitted that his wife Melania Trump and their 10-year-old son Barron will move "right after he finishes school."

Although this may seem like a practical idea, it should be noted that many former presidents, including President Obama, have relocated their children to Washington, D.C., immediately following the inauguration in January.

Sasha and Malia Obama as well as Chelsea Clinton moved during the school year and attended the Washington private school Sidwell Friends.

As for now, Trump and his wife continue to live in their Trump Tower penthouse apartment at in New York City. Barron attends a private school on the Upper West Side.
