Jay-Z and Kanye West Open Pop-Up Store for "Watch the Throne"

The temporary SoHo space features DJ sets and a Maybach.

Just in case there are people out on the street who haven't heard about their new album, Jay-Z and Kanye West opened up a temporary boutique in New York to help spread the word. But this store only sells one item — CD copies of "Watch the Throne."
The temporary store, in Manhattan's swanky SoHo district, is wrapped in the same Riccardo Tisci-designed gold packaging of the album and its main attraction (apart from CD's) is the deconstructed Maybach made famous in 'Ye and Z's "Otis" video. The car will soon be auctioned off for East African drought relief.
For the fans who were lucky enough to be at the store on Friday night, there was a special treat: Hov's wife Beyoncé cut through the huge crowd and flurry of paparazzi and stopped in for a special appearance.
The WTT pop-up store shuts down after the weekend.
