Monica and Brandy Reunite on New Single
For the first time since their 1998 classic "The Boy Is Mine," Monica and Brandy are reuniting on an all new single.
The late '90s/early-2000s R&B teen stars will join forces again of "It All Belongs to Me," a new song from Monica's forthcoming album New Life. The track will also be featured on Brandy's next album, due later this year.
In 1998, "The Boy Is Mine," inspired by the Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney collaboration "The Girl Is Mine," catapulted the two young singers to superstardom. It spent 13 weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and won the Grammy for best R&B performance by a duo or group.
"It All Belongs to Me" was written and produced by Rico Love and will be released on February 6 on RCA.
Aside from regaining her footing on the music scene, Brandy has joined the cast of BET’s top-rated primetime show The Game.
