Frank Ocean Talks New LP

Singer says he's unsure of song titles.

Critical darling Frank Ocean recently performed in London and debuted a few new tracks but now he thinks he may've been a bit premature.
"I stopped telling the crowd the titles, not because I don't want them to leak, I mean, I don't want them to leak," Ocean said on BBC Radio 1 of introducing several new songs during his U.K. performance, like "Disillusioned" and another that draws on Mary J. Blige's "Real Love." "It was more like am I sure about these titles? Because you never really know the titles for sure until the track list is printed."
As for the show, which marked his first trip abroad, the Los Angeles native felt welcome.
"It was awesome, the energy of the crowd was amazing," Ocean said of the crowd which included Adele. "I had a great time."
As for the follow-up to his debut Nostalgia, ULTRA, Ocean says the work is on it's way toward completed.
"The record is written, we're just trying to tie up the production, get everything sonically pleasing to me, the director of this film," He shared. "I take my time, for better or for worse. For this record, I want it to transition to the stage well and [my London show] was my seeing if they did and it worked out well."
No official release date for Ocean's as-yet-untitled album was announced at press time.
