Kelly Rowland Tells Us Something We Already Know
For all those hoping for a Destiny's Child reunion in the near future, you'll just have to keep hope alive.
The second lead vocalist of the group sat with Us Weekly to dish on the possibility of a reunion, and like always, she said it isn't happening. At least not right now.
"It hasn’t been something that we’ve talked about at all," Kelly told the publication. "We’ve just been enjoying each other, whether it’s been about our music, whether it’s been about motherhood or our personal lives. That’s what it’s really been about. That’s been the most beautiful part."
If you're a true DC3 fan then you know Kelly and Michelle have said the same thing about the future of Destiny's Child since the Destiny's Fulfilled days.
Recall that when asked about a reunion in 2013 by E! News, Williams said, "I'm never going to say never, but it'll be a long time."
Keep in mind that the groups' controversial former manager, Mathew Knowles, has been very adamant that he still manages all things Destiny's Child. Also revealing to the Roula and Ryan Show on Sirius XM that Destiny's Child still owes him another album.
However, all three girls have individually disassociated from him with regard to their solo careers.
Could Matthew Knowles be in the way of a DC reunion? We wouldn't be surprised.
