Cardi B knows that beauty is sometimes painful.

Last week, the "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker got a new tongue piercing. She documented the entire process for her 168 million followers on Instagram Live that has since been deleted, as reported by Teen Vogue.

During her piercing, it was a little TMI at moments as she screamed in misery and cried in agony. Additionally, there was a moment when she begged for ice to numb the pain.

But, a day after the procedure, she had second thoughts on her decision. "I really regret piercing my tongue because I am so hungry," she expressed in her Instagram Stories. "I've been hungry since last night. But I don't want to eat because of my tongue."

A new tongue piercing is not the only new thing for the chart-topper.

On Monday, word spread that she landed a brand new gig as the face of SKIMS latest collection, out October 19. The curve-friendly collection features updated pieces from its beloved Cotton Collection, the line’s highly sought-after bodycon dress, other loungewear pieces, and lingerie.

For Cardi B, this deal is twice as nice because she has “always loved” the line’s Cotton Collection, per a statement from the company.

“It’s so sexy and makes me feel yet comfortable while hanging out at home,” she said. “The new styles and colors I wore on set are even better, and I can’t wait to wear them all the time.”

We all know that Cardi B is that girl; in this campaign, she left no crumbs.

In a teaser for the new collection, the “I Like It” rapper is looking like a snack while sporting a two-piece set in oatmeal adorned with the line’s branded waistband. “Everybody’s wearing SKIMS,” she whispers while posing. “Are you?”
