Azealia Banks Snapped on an Instagram Fan With Foul Insults

No chill.

Last week, Azealia Banks was caught in another controversy when TMZ obtained footage of her going off on a flight attendant and calling him homophobic slurs. The gist of the story is that Banks wanted to get off the Delta flight from NYC to LAX, but she was stopped by a French couple. After a nasty exchange, it resulted in the viral video that shows her arguing with the flight attendant.

On Friday (Sept. 25), Banks took to Instagram to explain her motivation behind her outrage. She posted a picture that had these words: “Sometimes I just want someone to hug me and say 'I know it's hard. You're going to be okay. Here's a coffee. And 5 million dollars.'"

The caption accompanying the photo read, “I have never felt the pain of not being white the way I've felt it since I've been a public figure/part of this entertainment industry." It led people to believe she was referring to the TMZ incident.

Soon after, one user under the name @a_sanctuary_found wrote: "Imagine the pain young gay fans feel when they hear the vile things you say."

Vulture, by way of Daily Mail, grabbed the screenshots of her replies to this person and they weren’t friendly. "oh well imagine how I wanna spray a gay man in the face with pepper spray everytime he calls me a b***h a slut or a h**. Kiss my a**. Goodnight” and "Keep f***ing with me if you f***ing want to” were just some of the now deleted comments.

It all came full circle on Sunday night, where Banks went on Twitter to reflect on last week’s drama. However, she didn’t offer an apology to her fans. Read a lightly edited version of her tweets below.

You guys gave me so much power this weekend! All I had to do was say one word and I moved a whole community. What weaklings! If I am to be a part of an LGBT community I want to be in it with people who aren't so weak or so easily moved ya know. Because all the time spent being mad at word could've been used to help people who really need the help! I'm not a weak b***h, being called a d**e or a n****r does absolutely nothing to move me. So yes! You CAN call me a n****r and I won't get mad! .... I'd be like "That's all you got?" You boys gotta toughen up! Don't be so weak! If one word can put your entire community in distress you're DOOMED. LOL Words are not tangible things. You all CHOSE to get upset. Remember... Offense is only TAKEN, it is never given. Carry on .....”

Do you agree with Banks? Do you think she can recover from this?
