'The Breakfast Club' Recap: Is This Yung Miami’s Last Hot Girl Summer?
Loren LoRosa, formerly of TMZ, stopped by to guest co-host for the week with DJ Envy and Charlamagne tha God. They discussed various hot topics in pop culture, and LoRosa even opened up about her departure from TMZ. In short, she felt it was time to spread her wings, and that’s how she’s here today. Let’s get into the rundown for the week!
Monday started with a reminder of why everyone calls Monica “Goonica.” The singer was recently performing at a festival, and while she was on stage, she spotted a man hitting a woman. She jumped into the crowd and confronted the man. Her security followed her too, of course, and helped her back on stage, but she said a mouthful.
“I was triggered. I seen him punch that lady in the face and lost my top,” she said.
But the real question was, why would any of Monica’s music make someone angry enough to hit someone?
Yung Miami took up a lot of space in the week’s hot topics. On Tuesday, the team discussed the backlash the City Girls rapper received for bringing her 10-year-old son to Rolling Loud where he threw singles around. He wasn’t throwing money on actual humans, just up in the air. A caller said that if she didn’t want the backlash, she shouldn’t have posted it, but it doesn’t seem like Yung Miami cares what people think.
Hump day was somber with news of Bronny James. LeBron James’ 18-year-old son was hospitalized for cardiac arrest while practicing with his USC team. The good news is he was moved out of ICU after one day.
We wind the week down back on Yung Miami. This time she said she was ready to be in a relationship and love again.
“This is my last summer being outside,” she said.
You already know that people brought up her situationship with Diddy and how they flaunt their non-exclusive open relationship and her shopping trips everywhere. However, LoRosa brought up a good point, which is that when women say they want to have a hot girl summer, people assume that they don’t want love and companionship, but that’s not necessarily true. The right person could make someone change their mind.
What do you think? True or nah?
