After a handful of hip-hop threw their two cents in the ring of Pusha T and Drake’s fire-breathing rap feud, New York hip-hop and business magnate Diddy has stepped up to announce a final decision in whose taking home the trophy.

In a phone-in interview with The Breakfast Club, the Bad Boy Records monarch shared his evaluation of the King Push versus 6 God rivalry, saluting J. Prince for his no-response recommendation to Drake.

“I think you gotta listen to your OGs because it ain’t worth it,” Puff said of the advice from J.

The Rap-a-Lot Records CEO recently disclosed that he advised Drizzy to 86 his response, which he also revealed would be damn near career-ending for King Push. Puff thinks it was excellent OG words of wisdom, but there’s still a clear winner here.

“As far as in the battle, if he didn’t respond, then you know, he took the L,” he declared, prompting a hilarious eruption of overjoy from Charlamagne Tha God.

It’s no shade to Drizzy, though, especially since Puff can relate to his position between a rock and a hard place when his Bad Boy prodigy and late New York rap legend Notorious B.I.G. went bar-for-bar with fellow hip-hop legend and West Coast icon, Tupac.

 “I was in that same position with ‘Hit Em Up’,” Diddy said, explaining that after hearing Pac’s vicious anti-Biggie and Bad Boy diss record of 1996. Their on-wax tension would eventually turn physically volatile, so it makes sense then that Diddy supports J. Prince’s guiding words for Drizzy as well.

In another interview with Real 92.3, Puff added that he respected Drake’s decision to adhere to J’s directive as well, and the advice fell similar to that which he gave Big after the release of “Hit ‘Em Up.” Puff said he phoned the then-24-year-old up himself, and urged him not to respond.

“I said, ‘We’re not gonna respond. Somebody’s gonna get hurt if we respond',’” he said on the radio show.

Puff remembers the pressure Pac placed on them after the diss record release.

“That thing hurt to this day,” he said. He even recalls the Bad Boys squad confiscating turn tables of any DJ bold enough to spin the record in their presence.

With now one week’s time having passed by and no single hint of a Drizzy clap back, it’s highly likely that he decided to respect the wishes of his OG. But for the first time in a Drake's history of hip-hop beef, the scoreboard might not be in the Young Money prodigy’s favor.
