Thede has been honored by being in the company of other woke AF women for ESSENCE's second annual #Woke100 list. It's a list of women who are "proven change agents, shape-shifters and power players across the nation and beyond. These women continuously fight the good fight by inspiring us and igniting movements—from the health-care field to the Hill to Hollywood."
