Cardale Jones Wants to Catch That Fade With Joakim Noah
Is an unlikely little beef brewing?
When Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones was shown on the jumbotron in attendance at Quicken Loans Arena for Game 2 of the Cleveland Cavaliers-Chicago Bulls' series on Wednesday night, Joakim Noah was seen mouthing the words, "you ain't in the SEC," according to sportscaster Anthony Lima.
Jones caught wind of Noah's comments and blasted the Bulls center on Twitter.
"@JoakimNoah watch yo mouth before I give you these hands chump," Jones tweeted late Wednesday night after the Cavs' Game 2 win and later deleted.
"I'm at @JoakimNoah neck the rest of the series for that comment," he added, keeping this tweet up on his Twitter page.
Jones also re-tweeted a Bleacher Report Tale of The Tape designed image of himself and Noah, adding the comments, "According to Vegas, I'm the HEAVY favor," accompanied by emjois of laughing tears.
On Thursday morning, though, Noah seemed to downplay any issue he had with Jones.
"I didn't know who he was until this morning," Noah said to ESPNChicago.
Game 3 of the Bulls-Cavs' playoff series will be held in Chicago's United Center on Friday night.
