2 Chainz Has Reportedly Reopened His Atlanta Restaurants For Dine-In Service
2 Chainz has reportedly fully reopened his restaurants in Atlanta for dine-in service.
According to a TMZ report, operations were back in full swing at the rapper’s Escobar Restaurant and Tapas locations on Tuesday (May 5), albeit with new safety measures in place. Escobar spokesperson Bentley Didier told the outlet that the restaurant is operating under new guidelines in a continued effort to protect against the spread of COVID-19.
Some of these new safety precautions include sections being limited to four patrons or less, serving food served in to-go containers, offering masks and gloves free of charge, and requiring customers to wash their hands upon arrival. Didier also shared that the restaurant has opened up its back patio so that tables can be more spread out. The number of workers will be kept to the minimum needed to run operations.
Controversially, they're still keeping the hookah section open. Patrons will be provided with disposable hoses that employees will wipe down after every use.
This comes after 2 Chainz helped feed Atlanta’s homeless instead of resuming business operations on April 27. In April, Gov. Brian Kemp gave establishments such as restaurants, salons and bars the clear to reopen despite infections on the rise in Georgia.
