Messy AF: DL Hughley Hurls Transphobic Slur At ‘Pose’ Star Indya Moore During Twitter War Over Kevin Hart
Earlier this week, Kevin Hart was in a media firestorm after homophobic tweets surfaced after he announced that he was confirmed to host the 91st annual Academy Awards. However, he decided to resign because the Academy asked him to apologize (contrary to misreporting, Hart reportedly never apologized in the past, he only said he wouldn't make the anti-jokes again).
There have been some heated debates on social media with people like Snoop Dogg and Nick Cannon defending Hart. However, D.L. Hughley defense took an ugly turn after he insutled a transegnder actress who is famous for her role on the Emmy-nominated Pose.
DL posted the following video, saying "f**k them" if they can't take a joke.
Actress Indy Moore, who is a transgender woman, "White people standing up for racism in comedy. @RealDLHughley. But you can't see that because gay jokes are so popular and normalized. you can't balance or evaluate the ethics of an issue you aren't impacted by or really care brother just stop... You bias!"
