T.I.’s Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head Debuts High on Billboard Charts

The Grand Hustle CEO enjoys impressive first week sales with Trouble Man LP.

Veteran Atlanta rapper T.I. may have dubbed his eighth studio album Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head, but after debuting atop the Billboard charts, the king can certainly rest easy. Coming in at No. 2, Tip’s latest opus moved an impressive 179,000 copies in its first week, beating out Bruno Mars’s Unorthodox Jukebox by 2,000 units.

Pulling out all the stops and enlisting help from Andre 3000, A$AP Rocky, R.Kelly, Meek Mill and others for the star-studded LP proved to be a great move for the Hustle Gang bossman. This is the “Ball” rapper’s eighth consecutive Top 10 album.

The first week results come in as an improvement for the Atlantic/Grand Hustle recording artist whose previous album, No Mercy, debuted at No. 4 and sold 20,000 copies less in its first week.

Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head is in stores now.
